River King Newfoundland Club is committed to protecting the welfare of this wonderful breed. Newfoundland puppies are adorable little fluff balls that grow into giant breed dogs. Potential owners should research to ensure this breed fits their living circumstances and lifestyle. Unfortunately, research often does not happen, and through no fault of their own, dogs are without homes. Puppy mills and backyard breeders are known to sell puppies with health issues to unsuspecting owners who cannot afford extensive veterinary care, so the dog must be re-homed. And, sometimes, life creates circumstances that no one anticipates, and the dog must be re-homed.

River King Rescue, led by Club members Amy Lee and Connie Meech, will do its best to seek veterinary care, provide foster care, and work tirelessly to find the dog a new adoptive home.
